Wellbeing
Here at Nayland Primary School, we are committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing of all our pupils and staff. Positive emotional wellbeing is essential if children and young people are to flourish and lead fulfilling lives and we take an active role in promoting the importance of positive mental health. We know that everyone experiences life challenges that can make us vulnerable and at times, anyone may need additional emotional support. Through our PSHE curriculum and many other strategies, we teach children the importance of understanding how to stay mentally healthy and build their emotional wellbeing and resilience.
We have a ‘Wellbeing’ tab on our school app which is updated weekly giving advice and guidance to our school community about how to look after their emotional wellbeing. We also share all the powerful learning that is happening in school to build our children’s positive mental health and celebrate our emotional wellbeing achievements.
Please download our school app (Piota) and access our 'Wellbeing' area via the 'Information' section.
